The doors of the headquarters of the National Ballet of Spain open up for Merche Esmeralda. Once her house, from 1980 to 1889, it receives her today as a great teacher. Hand in hand with her, we slipped into a Ballet rehearsal of “Medea”, a character who marked a before and an after in Merche’s career and who demonstrated the unlimited freedom of dance. A new generation of dancers is following the indications of an artist who has dedicated her entire life to dancing. Together with her, we recall some of the key moments of her career. Moreover, guided by the conviction that it is essential to share experience and knowledge with the youngest, Merche Esmeralda opens up and offers, almost unintentionally and completely naturally, a masterful lesson on how to develop your own personality in dance.
